In recent years, with the explosive growth of the electric vehicle and energy storage markets, the client has expanded its cathode material precursor production line, urgently needing a batch of high-temperature rotary tube furnaces capable of continuous production to replace traditional intermittent roller kilns or pusher kilns, increasing capacity and reducing unit energy consumption. "This positive electrode precursor heat treatment production line, consisting of eight continuous rotary tube furnaces, has been very smooth from installation and commissioning to full-load production. What we are most satisfied with is the truly continuous feeding and discharging—materials are added from the feed hopper, pass through the heating zone, and automatically discharge from the outlet, requiring no manual intervention. Each furnace's temperature zone is independently controlled, allowing us to freely adjust the temperature curve according to material characteristics, resulting in excellent consistency in product moisture and particle size distribution. In the year since its launch, the average uptime has reached 92%, with minimal maintenance. This solution has helped us achieve a 10,000-ton capacity with a low investment cost, and energy consumption is lower than the design value.
